With Quick Star as his sire and high-level mare Famose as his dam, G&C Quick Star was surely headed for a promising sport career. At the age of eight, she already made a name for herself as one of the horses in the bronze medal winning German team at the European Championships for Young Riders. She subsequently came under the saddle of Venezuela’s Pablo Barrios. The pair achieved a series of high placings in significant classes up to 1.60m level and the mare also proved to be a champion horse. She won the gold medal twice at the Central American Games and left her mark in the FEI World Cup Finals.
