Iceberg stole the hearts of many Dutch jumping lovers, especially in the days when he was ridden by Carry Huis in ’t Veld. Around the turn of the millennium the pair produced a string of outstanding results, including winning the Zuidlaren Grand Prix, finishing second in the London and Stockholm World Cup qualifiers and acquiring third place in the Den Bosch and Gijon Grand Prix’s. Iceberg then went to the Belgian rider Marc van Dijck. On his website it reads: “This small jumping miracle was a sight for sore eyes. He mesmerized everyone with his swift technique.” Iceberg ended his career under the American Alison Robitaille-Firestone.
