Orlando van de Heffinck was first approved by the BWP. Under Dirk Demeersman, the stallion owned by Team Nijhof, Hubert Hamerlinck and the Bosch brothers performed exceptionally well. In their top year 2006, they finished fifth in the La Baule Grand Prix, second in the Lummen Grand Prix and second in the Aachen Nations Cup. The stallion was then sold to the well-known U.S.-based HH Stables and was successful under the Irishman Darragh Kerins afterwards. Orlando produced many international jumping horses, such as Ohlala (Lauren Hough) and Gangster de Longchamps, winner of the Lanaken World Championships for Young Horses. Owing to his breeding achievements Orlando acquired the Ambassadeur predicate, the highest BWP predicate.
