In de pedigree van Eldono D, die over een sterke bovenlijn beschikt en met een sterk achterbeen beweegt, zien we tweevoudig Wereldkampioen Florencio gecombineerd met de fameuze stam van Herbert de Baey. Vader Florencio is zeer succesvol in de Lichte Tour en ook in de fokkerij doet hij goede zaken. Moedersvader Jetset-D leverde ook Grand Prix dressuurpaarden als Jeff en On Top. Een volle broer van moeder Zadona is het nationale dressuurpaard Prinz Charming. Grootmoeder E.Rodona D leverde daarnaast ook het nationale dressuurpaard Floridus (v.Feinbrand) en de Oldenburgs gekeurde hengst Flower King G (v.Feinbrand), die in de nationale dressuursport werd uitgebracht. Zelf liep E.Rodona D in het Z2.
